Best advice: don’t take it personally

Best advice from a good friend: “The kids are going to say mean things to you, ignore you, bug the hell out of you, but their behavior isn’t about you. And even when it’s about you, like they think you’re the worst person in the whole world, it’s not really about you.”

  1. I really hope this was not learned today! But you are right. I found that 5 students can spend their time trying to push my buttons making my days terrible. If you can hide those buttons better than me, and focus on the rest of the students you will have a better time.
